Every version of the argument

Each artifact that has made the Pollica case, in the order it was made, with what it changed and where it stands now. Superseded versions stay reachable on purpose: a version that is no longer current is still the record of what was thought at the time.

The FFI thread

Built for a large Italian infrastructure group considering Pollica as an ecosystem project, deciding in September 2026. Three versions in two days, each from a read of the one before it. The spec is the presentation PRD.

Ten units, on Kawasaki's structure

Both decks measured against the 10/20/30 structure, then merged. The problem compresses from three units to one carrying the will, the proof and the money. Precedent moves after the problem. Adds the value proposition, the go-to-market and the landscape, which no earlier version had, and organises the middle as feasible, viable and desirable.

v0.24 Aug 2026superseded

The transition as the spine

Rebuilt around extraction to stewardship to cultivation, and around the fact that the shift has already started on its own. Drops the second person and every statement of what a thing is not. Adds five computed figures, three verified precedents, and the corrected extent. Twelve units, which was two too many.

First cut with photographs in it

The first version to use the committed photography rather than argue in type. Addressed the reader directly, opened on their own project, and led with what the work is not. All three were wrong and all three were fixed in v0.2. The cost model and the certification research landed while it was being built.

What it was cut from

The presented deck and the artifacts that came out of it. These are the source of most of the narrative, and of several numbers that exist nowhere else.

The People's Posidonia, Climate Week

The deck actually presented, and the bar everything since has been held against. Eleven slides, 38 images, and the thesis that names demand rather than science as the bottleneck. The binary is too large to commit; the narrative, the numbers and the speaker notes are transcribed.

The bootcamp review deck

What the week produced

Eighteen units, 32 images, and computed charts. The highest-production artifact in the repository and the one whose build pipeline every later deck reuses. Every unit carries a medium: a photograph means it happened, a capture means the tool runs, a chart means the number is sourced.

The People's Posidonia, co-branded

The Climate Week pitch re-cut as something a person reads alone, with the speaker notes converted to reveals and the tools wired in as links. The worked example the document system was designed against.

The client-neutral brief
briefv0.2live

The client-neutral cut

The same argument with the co-branding stripped and every ask figure removed, so a partner cut can branch from it rather than from a version already addressed to someone.

Earlier attempts

Kept because they are the record, and because two of them are still the live artifact at their own address.

The Neya partner brief
briefv0.5live

Fishermen as stewards

The named-partner cut, and the first artifact to put the interface layer at the centre: the four screens, the pairing, and the day on the water with the fourth panel deliberately empty.

The pitch, all type
pitchv0.1superseded

Fifteen units, no pictures

Every gate passed and the result was not worth looking at, which is the finding that started the whole redesign. Nine citations, six working tools linked, and zero images across fifteen units. Kept as the reference case for why correctness is not quality.

The partner deck
deckv0.5live

Co-run Pollica

The partnership proposal, fact-checked against the evidence ledger. Twenty units and the leanest word count of any deck here, and still carrying no imagery.

The protocol deck
deckv0.2live

The protocol, audience-neutral

The argument that the map is old, the instruments are cheap, and what is missing is a packaged method with an ownership split. Deliberately written for no particular reader, which is both its use and its limit.

why superseded versions stay up

Each version is an immutable snapshot, and the alias moves rather than the file. A superseded artifact is the record of what was believed when it was written, which is what makes a correction traceable rather than invisible. Three of the versions above were replaced because a number in them turned out to be wrong, and the replacement says so.
