Site

Five nested bounds, from the whole Salish Sea down to one harbour pile by pile. The hex field fades radially away from the stations rather than stopping at a bbox line, because that is where the model's confidence actually goes. The Salish view is the exception: it carries no fouling model, so it does not fade.

Confidence reach

Reach scales the radius of the fade around every station. Cells fade out with distance from the nearest anchor and vanish below 3%, so the field has a soft edge instead of a rectangular one. The same number is inspectable as the Model confidence fill.

A tide, flow and weather engine over an 8-day window, so the map is a moving twin rather than one frozen frame. All synthetic. Targets are NOAA CO-OPS 9449211 (Bellingham) and 9449679 (Blaine) for tide and Open-Meteo for weather, all declared and none wired.

Depth is computed inside this box only, at the current hour. Drag the box on the map to move it, drag a corner to resize. Nothing outside it carries a depth profile, because a basin-wide one runs to millions of values to answer a question asked at a berth.
